Five people and a team will be recognized by the Fredericton Sports Wall of Fame at its annual dinner and induction ceremony May 3 at the Delta Fredericton Hotel. The Fredericton Sports Wall of Fame will induct three people and a team and present two other awards at its annual dinner and induction ceremony later this year.

International rugby player Jebb Sinclair, Fredericton Royals great Jody Peterson, junior hockey general manager and builder Roger Shannon, along with the provincial champion 1977-80 Fredericton Red Wings junior hockey team will be added to the city’s sports shrine May 3 at the Delta Fredericton Hotel.

Baseball and hockey coach and volunteer Kevin Agar will be presented with the William (Bill) MacGillivray Award for sports volunteers and community workers, and AUS basketball’s Malcolm Christie will receive the Myer and Jack Budovitch Trophy for outstanding athletes and teams.
